Having assistant teachers in classes helps use our class time to the fullest! A dancer needs a tissue, shoe tied, bandaid, hair fixed - the class will keep moving!

She believes that being a great teacher begins with being a dedicated student — and that it’s never too late to keep learning. Her love for dance is ongoing, and she’s committed to always growing, exploring, and of course... dancing right alongside her students!

Olivia is a college student who is on her second year assisting at the studio, with 14 years of dance experience. The kids know her as "Ms. Liv", and she specializes with the littles & teaching tumbling! Ms. Liv will also be doing some choreography for a few recital dances this year, with Ms. Emilee's assistance.

Elsie is a high school student who has danced at The Backstage Studio her whole childhood. Ms. Elsie was Ms. Emilee's assistant teacher on Monday nights last dance season, and is able to do the same for the 2025-2026 dance season!

Kylie has 15 years of dance experience. Ms. Kylie enjoys teaching occasional adult classes, and older dance students. She also specializes in hop-hop! Ms. Kylie will be joining us specifically for help with competition choreography for the 2025-2026 dance season, working with Ms. Emilee on a weekly basis.
